The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is holding its first religious course for imams, preachers, and students today at the Taipei Grand Mosque in Taiwan, with 50 participants from these groups. The course covers the authentic Islamic creed, the consolidation of principles of moderation and balance, and warnings against extremism and radicalism, alongside addressing participants’ inquiries. This course is part of the outreach programs implemented by the ministry outside the Kingdom, aimed at disseminating the authentic creed and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s mission of serving Islam and Muslims. JERUSALEM — Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday called for a military campaign in the occupied West Bank similar to Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip. RIYADH — The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged the public to exercise caution amid forecasts of thunderstorms continuing hitting most regions of Saudi Arabia through next Friday. RIYADH — The Saudi Passports Directorate clarified that passports issued for Saudi citizens for the first time do not require activation. It also called on citizens, who have renewed their passports, to have their previous passports checked and their new passports activated at any passport office or branch office or international port of entry. The directorate stated that neither the checking nor the activation process requires a prior appointment. To complete the process, citizens must present their previous passport and verify its activation status through the Absher platform.
