KATHMANDU — The death toll from devastating flash floods and landslides in Nepal and China’s Tibet region has risen to 750, while more than 3,000 people remain missing, according to the latest figures released Sunday. RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Algeria following forest fires in the northern part of the country that resulted in deaths and injuries. NIAMEY — Nigerien authorities said Saturday they had regained control after a group of soldiers rebelled against officers at a key military base and opened fire on sensitive sites in the capital, Niamey, in an apparent mutiny that triggered hours of gunfire and explosions.
