BEIJING — A magnitude 7 earthquake hit China’s Tibet region on Thursday evening, killing at least 16 people, injuring dozens and collapsing hundreds of houses, according to state media. The quake hit Baqên County in the northern Nagqu region, Xinhua news agency reported, citing the local emergency management bureau. The county, located in what China calls the Tibet Autonomous Region after annexing it in the 1950s, is 400 km northeast of the region’s capital, Lhasa. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a joint executive program virtually with the Yemeni Family Care Association to implement an emergency water and environmental sanitation project for displaced persons in Lahj Governorate, Yemen.  The project will deliver 32,445 liters of water daily for 90 days, establish 16 distribution points, each equipped with a 2,000-liter tank, and provide 618 water transport and storage containers. It will also include water quality testing. The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has delivered about 60 development projects and initiatives supporting education across 11 Yemeni governorates.
