RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s operated renewable energy capacity increased 88 percent to 12,313 megawatts (MW) by the end of 2025, following the addition of five new solar energy projects during the year, according to the Renewable Energy Statistics 2025 report released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). The total number of operated renewable energy projects reached 15 by year-end. MUMBAI — An Indian court on Thursday sentenced former Tehelka magazine editor Tarun Tejpal to 10-year rigorous imprisonment after convicting him of raping a former colleague, overturning his 2021 acquittal in a decade-old case. The Goa bench of the Bombay High Court found Tejpal guilty of raping a junior colleague at a Goa resort 13 years ago.
