MADRID — Spanish authorities are preparing a new temporary accommodation site in Ceuta for hundreds of migrants who remain on the streets following a record influx from Morocco in July, local media reported Saturday. LA PAZ — At least two people were killed and 81 injured after two major explosions ripped through a military base in western Bolivia on Friday, authorities said. Seven people were also reported missing. The Defense Ministry said the explosions occurred around 2:30 p.m. local time at the General Maintenance Center of the RAM-2 “Bolívar” military base in Viacha. King Fahd International Airport customs in Dammam thwarted an attempt to smuggle 18,549 amphetamine pills concealed inside an incoming postal parcel. Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi stated that customs inspectors uncovered the narcotics during routine clearance procedures using advanced security detection systems and canine units.
